Precise guiding
This measuring system is used on press braking machines. It is made up of a sensor head, integrated evaluation electronics, a carriage and a guide rail with magnetic tape. The system has been developed for dynamic applications up to a moving speed of 4 m/s and especially for sheet metal processing. The sensor head is moved without contact at a distance of 0.5 millimetres above the magnetic tape. To guarantee precise and jolt-free guidance permanently, the developers decided in favour of a drylin® linear guide from igus®.
