This 3D printer runs quietly and precisely. This is possible due to trapezoidal nuts and plain bearings from igus®, mounted on all axes of the printer. Nuts and bearings are absolutely lubrication-free and have excellent sliding features that are responsible for a clearly lower noise development compared with conventional metal bearings.
