Quiet floating
This training system supports people with neurological defects or spinal cord injuries during rehabilitation measures. The patients are lifted into the air by a cable pull and can do running training while suspended. Until recently, the developers had used metal bearings in the lifting mechanism.However, these are very loud and have a low load capacity. Now that polymer bearings from igus® are being used, patients are lifted quietly and reliably into the floating position.
