Permanent rotation
On this assembly station, the workpieces are continually rotated in a circle. This is ensured by a motor installed in the centre of the system; this drives four assembly handles which are installed on a guide rail. The developers used an iglidur® PRT slewing ring bearing for this. This is lubricant- and maintenance-free and allows the motor gear unit to be integrated easily using the standard holes in the bearing plate.
