Reliable adjustment
This turbine is used wherever power is used but no mains connection is available. The only pre-requisite is that water is available. The moving parts of the turbine are submersed in water. For this reason, the roller bearings fitted in these parts must be extremely corrosion-resistant, which is why igus® plain bearings were chosen. In addition, the individual vanes of the turbine can be adjusted to the optimum angle, no matter the flow speed. Bearing rings from igus®, which do not require lubrication and are maintenance-free, are used in the stainless steel bearings.
