chainflex® M cables

From control, motor, servo and measurement systems through to data and bus cables, igus® has developed a broad product range, which covers all cable types and guarantees reliable yet low-cost cables: chainflex® M. All cable ranges cost around 40% less than the series in the previous range.

Our current chainflex® range of cables with no less than 1,040 different cable types is manufactured and tested for very demanding, permanently moving applications in energy chains with high cycle rates, speeds and accelerations in demanding environmental conditions. These high requirements come at a price, of course. However, there are numerous applications in machine and plant construction which do not require these high cycle rates.

Our chainflex® M cables keep their promise: We guarantee 5 million cycles of functional reliability and service life. This is unique in this price segment. Particularly since chainflex® M is designed and manufactured especially for use in energy chains. We can give this guarantee because we test all cables and systems permanently with reference to applications, and can therefore make reliable statements about cable service lives. In our in-house laboratory, which has 2,750 m² of floor space, we have 700 tests running in parallel and carry out two billion test cycles every year – including simulated-reality tests on chainflex® M.

Customers receive a functional guarantee for a service life of 5 million cycles for all chainflex® M cables. At affordable prices. The chainflex® M cable series are in the same price segment as the cables on the market for non-restraint-guided movements. In other words, chainflex® M cables have three advantages for users. It contains reliable and tested cables, including guarantee commitment, that meet energy chain manufacturer standards and are priced competitively.
