Project study „tri-spool“
The "tri-spool" was developed for a project, in which a pick-and-place system guided by cables can move freely in a room. A normal e-spool could not be used for these movements, because the built-in linear chain is not suited for axial movements. Consequently, a solution using the igus® triflex® R for 3D movements was implemented. Consequently, a solution using the igus® triflex® R for 3D movements was implemented. The "tri-spool" uses a TRC.30.050.0 to protect the cables when being moved out.
