igus® also refers to circular motions as RBR = reverse bending radius. This means that the energy chain can be bent in both directions. Bending radii can be selected as desired; the bending radii for the inner and outer radius do not need to be identical. As a rule, all igus® energy chains can be fabricated with a reverse bending radius. The presently largest implemented angle of rotation is 540°.
