This Cartesian robot is used for the production of concrete cavity walls. It moves on three axes and has a rotating gripper that positions the walls. The former system was less reliable and lead to early wear of energy chain® and cable. On all travelling axes and at the gripper, the use of insensitive igus® e-chains® increased the reliability of the system enormously.
