Unwind on both sides
CraneThere was no standard solution available to developers who wished to route their supply cables over a length of 15 metres in their crane. The crane boom is divided into four sections which glide into one another, which means the cables can only be routed inside the arms. This meant that the use of either conventional e-chains or cable rollers was out of the question. For this reason, the engineers developed a coil which can wind up and unwind an igus® e-chain® on both sides.
