Compact and flexible
Rotational axis for robotsA solution suitable for series production was required for routing the supply line of
servo-driven rotational axes on linear robots. The solution was to be as compact as
possible, as well as easy to install and service, and offer an integrated concept for
several design sizes. In addition, it had to be able to be guided easily through 0 to
270 degrees. Several systems were set up for testing purposes. The igus® triflex® R chain with its high degree of flexibility and compact design quickly proved to be the
optimum solution.
