Precise steering
DriveThere was only limited design space available for the new development of a drive for industrial trucks. In order to guide the energy supply exactly to where it is required, the developers had to use a trick: thanks to the alternating layout of the links in the igus® e-chains® of the 2600 and 2700 series, the chain could be reinforced in certain places. This resulted in a fixed break-point which routes various cables and two hydraulic lines precisely to the right spot.
