Swimming pool covers
In these pool covers (above-ground facilities) ball bearings were used for the shaft bearings in the past, which however had to be elaborately sealed with a shrink tube. This required a high installation effort and yet never kept it tight properly. Depending on the size of the swimming pool cover, igus® igubal® flange bearings of the EFSM series are now used.
